“The abstract nature of my paintings reveals how I interpret the world around me and how I’ve been influenced by the various cultures where I have lived. I explore color, light and contrast as a new story is born in subtle ways on the canvas.
The process of creating occurs as if a “fire in my soul” has been ignited and the resulting marks, lines, strokes and shapes create “a new way of seeing” the story.
